The $895 Design By Room fee includes your designer's time and expertise, your in-home, showroom or virtual consultation, the creation and presentation of your personalised room design, and a curated shopping list of recommended furniture and homewares.

Once you've made your selections, we'll manage the procurement of your order, coordinating with our suppliers, particularly for custom-made pieces, on your behalf. When everything arrives, we'll organise your installation, ensuring everything comes together exactly as planned, making the entire process worry-free.

As this is a professional design service, the $895 fee is not applied as a credit towards product purchases.

Yes, you're welcome to purchase your selected pieces over time, at a pace that suits you.

However, as many of our furniture and homewares are imported in limited quantities, and fabrics for custom-made pieces may be discontinued, availability can change over time. We would hate for you to miss out on completing the beautiful look your designer has created for you, so we recommend purchasing your selections together where possible.

Every Design By Room project is unique and tailored to your home, your style, and your budget. During your consultation, your designer will take the time to understand your needs and discuss options that feel comfortable for you.

Our collections include a range of furniture, homewares, fabrics and finishes, allowing us to create beautiful, considered spaces across different investment levels. As a guide, most full-room projects fall between $20,000 and $50,000, however we welcome a range of budgets and will work with you to create a scheme that reflects both your vision and your investment level.

Absolutely. During your initial consultation, you can share any existing pieces or items you’d like to incorporate into your home. Your designer will thoughtfully work these into the overall design and curate additional pieces that complement them, creating a beautifully layered room.

Following your initial in-home or virtual consultation, your designer will prepare your personalised room design, which will be presented within two weeks.

Once you’ve approved the design, your designer will guide you through product availability and lead times. The majority of our range is in stock here in Brisbane and can be delivered promptly, while custom upholstered pieces are made to order and can take up to 8 weeks.

From your initial consultation through to installation, the timeline will vary depending on your selections, but your designer will provide clear guidance throughout the process, so you know what to expect from the beginning.

If there are pieces in your presentation that don’t feel quite right, we’ll work with you to explore alternative options and find selections that you are more comfortable with.

Before creating your design, your designer will spend time getting to know you, your preferences, how you live in the space and what you’re hoping to achieve. This helps them create a considered scheme that is tailored to your home and lifestyle.

With access to our showroom, you’ll also have the opportunity to see and experience pieces in person and explore changes to fabrics, finishes or selections where needed.

Your designer can work with you virtually using photos and measurements. If you prefer an in-home consultation, our designers can travel within a 2-hour drive radius of our store. A travel fee applies for home visits outside the Brisbane metro area, please contact our team for more information.

As much or as little as you’d like. Many of our clients lead busy lives and value having an expert take care of the design process, selections and coordination from start to finish.

Your designer will guide you through the key decisions and keep you informed throughout, while managing the details to create a beautiful, cohesive space without the stress of having to coordinate everything yourself.

However, if you’d prefer a more hands-on experience, we welcome your involvement throughout the process.
